Another awesome day out, this time at Entertainment Park in Bankstown with our social group! Massimo was keen to hit the bowling lanes and absolutely gave it a solid go, beating me by 30 points. While Isaac and Tim jumped into the driving simulators and got straight into the action. It was great to see everyone choosing activities they enjoy and backing each other along the way.

This group has been created to support autistic young people to build friendships, connect with others, and enjoy shared interests in a comfortable and inclusive environment; and days like this are exactly what it’s all about.

After that, the whole group came together to explore the arcade, having a laugh, trying different games, and just enjoying being social in a relaxed setting.

To finish off the day, we headed to GamesCube in Parramatta where Isaac brought along a brand new board game. Everyone got involved, learned the game together, and had a great time wrapping up the day as a group. Days like this are a great reminder of how important it is to create opportunities for connection, confidence building, and genuine social experiences. Looking forward to many more like this 🙌
