Yesterday our friendship group headed out to Penrith for a full day of activities and connection.

We kicked things off at Aqua Golf, where everyone got involved aiming for targets and trying their luck at the cash prize! It was great to see the encouragement between the group and how naturally they supported each other with technique; these shared experiences are what build genuine confidence and meaningful relationships.

After golf, Chris had a roleplay assessment to complete, and the whole group stepped in to support. Together, they created two scenarios focused on safe support practices, assisting someone using a walker in and out of a car, and responding appropriately to a fall. Everyone took on a role, from directing and filming to acting, and it was incredible to see the teamwork, initiative, and understanding shown by everyone involved.

We then headed to Rashays for lunch, where the group enjoyed a meal together and shared plenty of laughs and conversation.

To finish the day, we spent some time at Penrith Panthers Leagues Club, enjoying a mix of games and activities to wrap things up. A really amazing day that highlighted connection, teamwork, and building real life skills in a fun and engaging way.
